Determinants of tourism attractiveness for Taiwan’s offshore islands

Evaluating the influence factors of attractiveness offshore island tourism will help to understand customers’ motivations in choosing activities, and for travel operators improve their promotion products. This paper employed fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method empirically analyze determinants Taiwan’s islands. The results indicate that ‘substantial aspect’ is most important evaluation dimension on attractiveness. Among 16 factors, ‘natural resources regional attractions,’ ‘cultural heritage cultural resources,’ ‘well-established convenient transportation’ are three about Furthermore, some discussions concerning key determinates provided tourism.
